Lenny serves as Nuvo’s Head of Capital Markets, playing a crucial role in sustaining and broadening relationships with family offices and institutional clients. He is tasked with developing new partnerships and refining internal processes to more effectively meet the firm’s goals.

His commercial real estate career began as an investment sales advisor at Marcus & Millichap in New York City, where he participated in activities exceeding $250M of assets on the West Side. As the Director of Capital Markets & Investor Relations at Avid Realty Partners, he significantly improved operational efficiencies, facilitated the onboarding of C-Level executives, and supported capital raising for major multifamily transactions, including a $20M+ raise from institutional investors. At Lloyd Jones, a private equity firm with $1.5B in real estate transactions, he developed a retail syndication platform, overseeing investments in multifamily, hotels, and senior housing from family offices, institutions, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.

Brian Underdahl

Chief Executive Officer

Brian serves as Nuvo’s Chief Executive Officer, leading our proprietary market research and providing strategic guidance to Nuvo’s investment strategy while also serving on the investment committee.

With a Master of Science in Applied Economics from FSU, where he also taught in the economics department, Brian has significantly influenced the firm’s strategic direction, particularly in U.S. apartment building acquisitions, underwriting, and management. His use of data analytics tools underscores his commitment to evidence-based strategies, enhancing the firm’s investment decisions and capital allocation. Brian previously served as CEO at QRE Partners, a fund allocating capital to multifamily sponsors across the sunbelt and southeast.

Irene Mangcao

Executive Assistant

Irene serves as an Executive Assistant at Nuvo Capital Partners, supporting the firm’s operations by coordinating investor meetings and assisting with day-to-day activities to help C-level executives focus on strategic priorities. She plays a key role in streamlining processes and guiding investors through the onboarding process to ensure a seamless experience.

Before joining Nuvo, Irene was a Lead Development Specialist in private equity, supporting investor lead generation, marketing, and social media management. Earlier in her career, she served as a Computer Science & Information Technology professor, equipping students with essential skills in emerging technologies. Irene’s well-rounded expertise across education, technology, and private equity allows her to support Nuvo Capital Partners’ mission to deliver institutional-quality real estate investments.
