Stuart serves as Nuvo’s Chief Investment Officer, heading up the investment committee and overseeing asset management, partnership executions, and the strategic direction of the firm.

Stuart initiated his career in the private equity sector after earning a Master’s in Managerial Economics, focusing on deal sourcing, underwriting, and acquiring assets. His tenure from 2010 to 2013 saw him underwrite over $2 billion in real estate, closing deals exceeding $500 million. Transitioning to multifamily property management, he advanced to Regional Vice President, managing over 8,000 units and leading regional managers. In 2019, Stuart joined Lloyd Jones, spearheading their property management and asset management divisions, and played a pivotal role in the acquisition and disposition of over $650M+ in multifamily properties, contributing significantly to the firm’s growth.

Lenny Pisano

Head of Capital Markets

Lenny serves as Nuvo’s Head of Capital Markets, playing a crucial role in sustaining and broadening relationships with family offices and institutional clients. He is tasked with developing new partnerships and refining internal processes to more effectively meet the firm’s goals.

His commercial real estate career began as an investment sales advisor at Marcus & Millichap in New York City, where he participated in activities exceeding $250M of assets on the West Side. As the Director of Capital Markets & Investor Relations at Avid Realty Partners, he significantly improved operational efficiencies, facilitated the onboarding of C-Level executives, and supported capital raising for major multifamily transactions, including a $20M+ raise from institutional investors. At Lloyd Jones, a private equity firm with $1.5B in real estate transactions, he developed a retail syndication platform, overseeing investments in multifamily, hotels, and senior housing from family offices, institutions, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.

Brian Underdahl

Chief Executive Officer

Brian serves as Nuvo’s Chief Executive Officer, leading our proprietary market research and providing strategic guidance to Nuvo’s investment strategy while also serving on the investment committee.

With a Master of Science in Applied Economics from FSU, where he also taught in the economics department, Brian has significantly influenced the firm’s strategic direction, particularly in U.S. apartment building acquisitions, underwriting, and management. His use of data analytics tools underscores his commitment to evidence-based strategies, enhancing the firm’s investment decisions and capital allocation. Brian previously served as CEO at QRE Partners, a fund allocating capital to multifamily sponsors across the sunbelt and southeast.
